There’s been a fair bit of
Harvest Moon-related news lately, whether it’s in the form of
Rune Factory Oceans, or the future of the
Rune Factory series in general, and with Natsume having announced
Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns recently, you can expect more very soon.
On a whim, we decided to dig through an archive of Japanese software sales numbers to take a look at how the
Harvest Moon series has been holding up over the years in Japan, ever since Marvelous moved it to the Nintendo DS back in 2005.
Here’s a quick visual aid to give you an idea of how
Harvest Moon
games from 2005 onward have done. Keep in mind that these numbers
aren’t 100% accurate, but they should still give you a decent idea of
each game’s performance relative to the others.
